Doomed to Placehold
Thanks to the internet, no one's worldview is static. One moment we believe in technology, then in ourselves, in nature, and finally in the great plan, or is it everything at once? The frustration of internal contradiction catches up even with the most solid narrative and grows with the number of attempts to overturn this contradiction. In the end, even the image of grief is objectified and becomes the centre of the whole vortex of possibilities. Doomed to Placehold is a video that explores the formal aspects of online visual cultures, their meanings and associated worldviews using 3D animation and jokes.
